Our Prayer


Redeemer, covenant God, head of the church,

We come before You with fear and trembling,
For You search our hearts and know us deeply.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence,
And receive mercy to help us in our time of need.

You gave us Your beloved Son for our salvation.
Unite us and reconcile us to You, and to each other,
That we might humbly forgive and act in love.
Let us be willing to share life and journey together,
That we might encourage and support each other in faith.

Help us to grow in the knowledge of who You are.
Challenge and comfort us by Your living Word,
That we might desire to live better for You each day.
Let us never underestimate the power of prayer,
But continue to pray without ceasing, with joy and thanksgiving.

Send us your Holy Spirit to empower the church.
Convict our hearts and move us out of our comfort zones,
That we might boldly share the love of Christ with the community.
Let the older generation dream dreams and the younger see visions,
That we might go where You lead us to proclaim Your name in power.

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
Who lives and reigns with You and the Spirit,
One God, now and forever, Amen.
