Care Groups

We don’t just meet on Sundays!  Join one of our Care Groups to make strong and lasting connections in our congregation and feel a part of our larger church community!

Whether you’ve been Christian for a long time or just starting to explore your faith, you can find a care group that suits your needs and interests.  By meeting on a regular basis in a smaller group, you can find fellowship, accountability, intellectual debate and discussion as well as personal support and prayer.  Our Care Groups are in place to help you strengthen and grow in your relationship with Jesus.

  • Prayer and Worship Group – In this group we explore different styles of prayer and worship, and the meanings behind worship songs. We talk to God through conversational prayer, and learn about how God answers prayers - discerning, listening, waiting and thanking together.
    Meetings:  once per month
  • Social Justice Group – In this group we explore the topic of social justice through film, articles, the Bible and volunteer trips. We’ll learn, pray and act – together.
    Meetings:  once-twice per month
  • Book & Bible Study Group – In this group we grow in our relationship with Jesus through intellectual study and discussion about the Bible and different Christian books.  We develop meaningful relationships with each other while sharing our struggles and keeping each other accountable in our daily lives.
    Meetings:  once per week
  • ALPHA Group - ALPHA is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The ALPHA course includes ten meals and an amazing weekend getaway that comes halfway through the 10-week course. Each session people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life and God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
